Learn more about Kallenhard
Established in 2015, Kallenhard aims to provide a service that is second to none in the sales and funding of prestige and performance vehicles. The business is located in the South East of England, just 45 minutes by rail from London (Euston) and only 30 minutes from Junction 20 of the M25.
Kallenhard specialises in offering a diverse range of performance marques, such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes and Volvo. Please visit our Current Stock page to review our sales selection. All of our cars are comprehensively inspected and prepared to the highest standards. We also offer a comprehensive range of finance and funding options and a full range of warranties. We pride ourselves on the fact all of our cars are sourced from private sellers meaning we don’t buy cars from auction houses.
Our sales department is headed by Sales Director Doug Browne. Doug has worked in the premium vehicle sector for over 15 years and is experienced with all aspects of the sales environment. Customer satisfaction is his number one priority, so get in touch to discuss your requirements, whether it is selling your existing car or sourcing the next car for your collection.
Meet the Kallenhard Team
Doug has an exceptional understanding of the sports and performance car market. He has previously managed one of Bedfordshire's largest and most respected used car specialists. His knowledge of values and specifications is encyclopedic and sourcing the 'right' car is a speciality. Doug has also held senior roles in prestigious main dealers and the motor finance sector.
Dan has extensive experience, having been employed at Nissan, Mini/BMW dealerships and elsewhere in the Bedford and Luton area. With the surname Bedford, he really can’t have been brought up and educated anywhere else!
But Dan was actually born in South Africa 25 years ago. His dad hails from Berkhamsted, and met his mum who had emigrated from what is now Zimbabwe.
Never one to hide his light under a bushel, Dan is also an accomplished musician (if you can describe a drummer as such!) and plays in no fewer than three local groups – "Diversion", a punk/rock band; "Wenz Day", a Green Day tribute act; and "Ashley Falls", a pop/punk band who once supported "Scouting for Girls".
Kallenhard's growing success has meant that Doug has had to recruit a new member to the team. Welcome Charlie Ready, who comes via Milton Keynes and Gibraltar, where he was born to Scots parents in 1994, and where he lived for his first eight years.
Charlie, a keen mountain biker and golfer, previously worked in the motor trade in MK before joining Kallenhard. He's also managed a golf shop, and travelled and worked in Australia, which accounts for his love of surfing.
Charlie says he's always had a love for cars, so being able to spend all day in the showroom surrounded by Bentleys, Astons and other classics is like a dream come true!
When it comes to money matters at Kallenhard Performance Cars, our Henry has the finance ball firmly in his court.
The reason? The youthful 22-year-old has an accountancy qualification AND is a mad keen basketball player and fan.
Henry, from Hemel Hempstead, was recruited from a local accounting practice in 2019 and in his spare time is the official statistician for Hemel Storm, who play in Division 1 of the National Basketball League.
He played basketball for his school team, then Aylesbury and Berkhamsted. He now plays for Berkhamstead Bears in Division 1 of the Hertfordshire county league.
So it figures that Henry certainly appears to be a great asset for Doug and the rest of the growing Kallenhard team.
Amy, from Leighton Buzzard, is currently doing a Business Administration apprenticeship while working as aide to Office Manager Henry.
She says she's always been interested in the business/finance side of things after studying the subjects at GCSE and A-level.
Amy will be the first to admit that she's a true gym bunny, spending much of her leisure time keeping fit - just like the rest of the finely-honed individuals making up the Kallenhard team!
She adores her cream-coloured Mini: "Ever since I was little I always wanted my first car to be a Mini. Last summer I got one, and I absolutely love it".

Petrolhead Phil is a recent addition to the company, with the self-confessed car geek responsible for photography and associated web work.
He's been in the motor trade for two decades now dealing with a wide variety of marques, including Land Rover, Vauxhall, Kia and Mitsubishi. For the last few years he's specialised in car photography.
Phil, who has a wry sense of humour, says:" I'm often nicknamed Clarkson due to my extensive motoring know-how, though I'm more like James May. Similar hair, similar shirts and an equally geeky level of knowledge!"
He claims he can identify cars from their engine sound, the roof line or even the instrument cowling.
Phil, who's married, is also a big fan of Formula One and the British Touring Car Championship - and competes in an online motor racing league.
Sales Support Operative
Family man Jay enjoys a varied role at Kallenhard ranging from collecting vehicles for stock from private sellers, delivering cars to our customers and making sure the cars look lovely in our showroom for handover. Having a keen eye for detail, great time management and a strong work ethic enables him to complete all these tasks to the standards our customers expect.
Jay says his favourite bit of the job is working with the variety of cars that he does at Kallenhard, you never know what is coming in next!
When Jay’s not at work he can either be found with the family or on one of the 5 a side football pitches in his local area.
Dave had been a vital member of the Kallenhard team since joining in September 2020.
After a long and successful career in the retail and leisure sectors, including Merchandise Controller at Woolworths, Category Director for drinks giant Diageo, and MD of an executive search agency, he took semi-retirement to drive prestige cars for the company.
As Dave says:" It's a great way to spend two or three days a week!"
Outside work, Dave keeps fit by being a keen tennis and badminton player. He's also a long-suffering season ticket holder at West Ham, and likes nothing better than spending time with his three granddaughters.
Ian is an ex-Fleet Street reporter and national TV and radio news editor who describes himself as an unreconstructed petrolhead. The Scot is also father-in-law to RPM’s director Greig, so likes to think he always has the best interests of the company to heart as he checks, collects and delivers Kallenhard cars throughout the UK. "It’s a lot less stressful than putting out the news", he quipped.
Ian, who lives in Wendover, also keeps a close eye on the various RPM/Kallenhard websites, and although not involved on a day-to-day basis, writes staff biographies and website blogs. Oh, and he’s a stickler for misplaced apostrophes!
